INGREDIENT LIST

Serves 8

1 lbs Italian sausage

2 cups white rice 

1/2 red bell pepper

1/3 cup diced yellow onion

3/4 cup marinara sauce

1 1/2 cup shredded white cheese (or 6 slice Follow Your Heart dairy free)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat oven to 350 and lightly grease 9x13 glass baking dish

  • While rice is cooking, dice onion and bell pepper. 

  • If Italian sausage is not already ground, cut up links into tiny pieces. 

  • When rice is finished, in a large mixing bowl, combine rice, sausage, bell pepper, cheese and onion. Mix well. 

  • Spread out in baking dish and top with marinara. Bake for 40 minutes

  • Allow cooling, cut and enjoy!
