1 cup gluten free baking flour (can use regular too)

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

2 eggs

1/2 large banana

2 TBS honey

2 TBS mini chocolate chips

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Dash of sea salt

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup almond milk


  • Set oven to 350 and grease an 8x8 baking or glass pan well.

  • In a large mixing bowl, begin by mixing flour, applesauce, eggs, honey, cinnamon, salt and cocoa powder.

  • Mash banana and mix into batter well.

  • Add mini chocolate chips and almond milk and give batter one final mix until chocolate chips are distributed. 

  • Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. Stick tooth pick in the middle to check when done. 

  • Allow to cool, cut into 9 squares and enjoy!
