1/3 cup coconut flour
3 TBS chocolate protein powder
1/2 cup egg whites
10 drops liquid stevia
1 1/2 TBS honey
1/4 tsp baking powder
Dash of sea salt
1 TBS cocoa powder
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 TBS vanilla protein powder
Dash of cinnamon
1 TBS coconut oil
2 TBS water
Set oven to 350 and lightly grease donut pan.
Mix all dry ingredients for the batter in a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs, honey, applesauce and egg whites mixing until smooth batter is formed.
In each donut slot, put 3 TBS of batter. Bake for 15 minutes.
While donuts are baking, begin making the icing.
Melt coconut oil and add to vanilla protein powder, along with 2 TBS water.
Stir until protein is no longer in clumps. This may take a minute or two.
Add cinnamon and mix one more time.
Once donuts are done, allow cooling to room temperature.
Top each donut with 1 TBS icing.
Enjoy right away or store in refrigerator!
