PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST
1 1/2 carb, 1 protein & 1 fat
2 slices gluten free or Ezekiel bread
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/3 cup egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 TBS nut butter of choice
Grease skillet well with either spray or a little butter.
Mix half scoop of protein in egg whites. It will begin clumpy, but keep whisking and it will break up.
Add vanilla extract and mix one more time.
Dunk bread slice in egg mix and sprinkle each side with cinnamon.
Place bread on skillet and cook each side on medium high heat until browned.
Spread nut butter of choice on top immediately so it melts and enjoy!
