2 lean top sirloins

2 TBS almond meal

Dash of sea salt

1 TBS liquid egg white

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp coconut or olive oil


  • Set oven to 350 and line baking sheet with foil

  • Mix almond flour, sea salt, oregano, garlic powder and basil well.

  • With a meat tenderizer, pound steak until about a half inch thick. Put 1/2 TBS of egg white on each steak and then coat each with half of the breading mixture.

  • Heat oil over the stove in a skillet on high.

  • Lower heat to medium high and add steaks. Sear for about 2 minutes on each side, until breading becomes browned and crsipy

  • After seared, put steaks on baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes.

  • For the last 2 minutes, put steaks on broil to finalize crisp on the breading.

  • Removed from oven when complete and top with cheese slice immediately to allow it to melt on top and enjoy!
